Task Force will facilitate a public discussion on the Commission of Architectural Review (CAR) on Thursday, October 1 from 6:30-8PM at the Richmond City Council Chambers. Staff from the Deptartment of Community Development, &lt;a href="http://www.ci.richmond.va.us/departments/communityDev/histpres.aspx"&gt;Historic Preservation Division&lt;/a&gt; will present this report to the Commission of Architectural Review on Tuesday November 25, 2008, at their regular monthly meeting.  The meeting begins at 3:30pm and is open to the public (5th floor conference room, City Hall.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Should the Commission of Architectural Review accept the planner's findings, the nomination process for the district will proceed to the "Public Information Phase" of the nomination process.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This step will begin with a mailing to every property owner in the proposed district. If CAR grants our request, the Department of Community Development/Division of Historic Preservation staff will undertake it's own research on the proposed district.
